I highly recommend them to improve your English. I took a 3-months course to improve my speaking, and I feel that I have improved a lot. The methodology of the teacher is useful and practical, so you can easily track your advances. In addition, the teacher is very nice and smart, so she challenges you to think beyond. I will definitely continue recommending her to my Spanish-speaking colleagues. Thanks again.

Reflecting upon my experience, I am so thankful that I chose Lord Fairfax Community College as a stepping stone down my educational pathway. I am now in graduate school working towards earning my doctorate of Pharmacy as well as an MS in Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine. Being one of the only individuals that took all of her undergraduate classes at a community college, I am one of the most elite in my class. There is a tremendous amount of opportunity offered at Lord Fairfax which students should be taking great advantage of. Get scholarships. Apply yourself. Save money. Earn a degree. All of which is readily attainable at this regionally accredited and second highest ranked community college in the state of Virginia. 🤷🏼‍♀️

A gem of a library!!! So kid friendly! We spent 4+ hours at the library and enjoying its beautiful shaded gazebo/picnic table/gardens, and an easy 1-mile Story Trail, and the huge shaded playground nearby. What a special place. The library's toddler area was amazing - lots of stuffed animals and comfy seating, puzzles for kids. Thanks to the lovely librarians who helped me find some specific books and signed us up for the summer reading program. While it's a smaller library than most, it was very well done and didn't lack a thing.

Went in to get a library card and the staff was so nice and informative. I love libraries and this one seemed to have plenty of books for kids and from I was told, if they didn't have the book in that location it could be transferred from another PWC library, which is a great service. You can borrow books, e-readers, movies, etc which is really nice. I am particularly fond of the idea that I can use the card to borrow ebooks to read on my Kindle! Just go in, get a card and log in via a partner app to borrow books! I believe you can borrow for up to 3 weeks and request to extend if no one is waiting for it. Pretty awesome if you're an avid reader. 🙂

P&HCC has been a great experience for me so far. The faculty members are polite and helpful. This place is better than any other school I’ve ever been to. The fun activities are great to participate in during free time. So many great opportunities to explore here. Definitely has been a positive experience so far for me. I’m glad I came to this community college. Being treated like the adult I am, having the freedom to make my own decisions, and having my own opinion is what I’ve always wanted. I actually trust the members who work here and try to make this a positive and safe experience for everyone, including me.

I took about half a BS degree here various courses in business, nursing, biology, public speaking. Good price when I went. More expensive these days though. Still a lot less expensive than a 4 year college and you get the same credit. Courses seem a bit more practical oriented and less theoretical than 4 year colleges. Particularly useful was intro to microcomputer software and accounting classes I think.

I needed assistance with my utility bill and Victoria Harris was my assigned case manager. This lady is an absolute angel, she was extremely polite and professional, and really helped me when I needed it. She Answered all my questions and even followed up when Payment was not received on time. In today’s world, people can be so cruel, but this woman was such a joy to even talk to. Just wanted to shout her out because that type of friendliness and professionalism Goes a long way when people find themselves in hardship. Thank you, Victoria. EV is unique, with it being located in a small town surrounded by other small towns. It asks for students to try their best at whatever they do and it loves to keep them involved. The pros of EV outway the cons in my eyes, with the only con being there isn't enough advanced classes like calculus but, you could take that online. While the benefits of EV keep on coming! Going to EV allows students to be well rounded, by allowing them to find their interests. For sports we have cross country, football, volleyball, basket ball, valleyrush, cheer, wrestling, golf, track, softball, and baseball. Personally I have played in golf and volleyball and I can say that our coaches strive for us to do our best and push us when we need it. Now if sports aren't your thing don't worry, we have drama club, speech, chess club, and D&D club, with hopefully many more in the future. If you go here 4 years will go by quickly, but you'll be left with good memories.

Pretty nice library. Some of their books though are outdated but overall a good selection. I've had a few interactions with the staff and they seem nice enough. I will say I went recently and I heard children screaming for a solid 10 minutes and someone snoring but I wasn't all that bothered cause I was just browsing and not there to do any work. Catalogue is a little limited I searched for a few books and the system only pulled up one from one author and then had no clue who another author was. Overall a pretty good library
