Wow! Honestly, I was blown away by Main. I wish I lived closer so I could bring my kids more often. The children’s floor is 🤌🏼 fantastically designed and has so much for the kids to do. My favorite books are graphic novels and I often lean towards non fiction GNs. They had an amazinggggg selection I wanted to set up camp and live right there. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. I was expecting LESS books because of the process of unboxing and shelving but I was pleasantly surprised that they had so many books available to check out so soon after opening. Bravo is all I have to say 👏🏼

As a freshman in pre-nursing, I can honestly say getting started has been so easy. And this is with me reaching out to the college staff for guidance, and asking questions! I applied for FAFSA, was told I’d get the refund of what was left from paying for my tuition a couple weeks after class started, they helped me set up for that refund so it was deposited on time, they helped me register for my required pre-requisite classes, and helped me choose an extra credit class, I was able to charge all my books to my financial aide! They provided me with any and all resources that can help me be successful from tutoring and advising, TJC has been a breath of fresh air! And I cannot wait to start this new chapter in my life! As 34 year old starting college, I will say this college is the best choice to get an associates degree! The entire staff has been so helpful!

Brazosport College is a gem! It has a beautiful campus, dedicated instructors, and a very helpful support staff. My son was totally confused about what to major in, and discouraged by experiences at another institution. Thank God we found BC, where he talked to a great counselor and then had truly outstanding instruction. He's doing great now and will be transferring next semester to a 4 year college to finish his bachelors. Thank you Brazosport College!

Great place to take classes. My son takes classes here in the summer to transfer to his 4 year university. He has enjoyed all of his professors. I like the school because they have a great enrollment process. They've got a waiting area and they call you up by name and clearly post your name on monitors. I only give 4 stars because of their police department. If you pull through a parking space-ticket. They watch every vehicle and the slightest parking lot infraction can bring a quick ticket. They're using it as a money generator. You've got to read their police handout. A lot of rules are in place that aren't posted and a visitor can quickly find themselves ticketed. We've switched to College of the Mainland and we've been happier.

I'm so grateful for the GED program. My ex-husband was abusive, and it disrupted my Daughter's life, especially her education, along with giving both of us PTSD. I've been encouraging her to approach them about getting her GED, but she was scared to take that first step. I was amazed at how eager she was to continue catching up, and she is now hungry for knowledge. The instructor or instructors, seem to put her at ease. I'd definitely recommend this place, and I'll help her along, should she decide to attend the college courses. ❤️

Very small college. It's okay college they have sports. They seem to take care of their students. It's really small so you'll know everybody and everybody'll know you. The teachers will know you as well. They take time to talk to you and make sure you get what you need. Again, it's a very small college. A lot of high schools are bigger than this college. However, that could be a great thing for a lot of kids, especially kids that are introverted or adults and just want to go to school and then want all the other stuff. This is the college for you

COM was the first college I attended. If I can offer a young person who may have some financial challenges some advice it would be to attend a community college first. COM has some great certificate and degree plans especially their nursing and chemical processing. A lot of times you may be able to get a scholarship or grant. Please don't take out a lot of student loans like I did unless you really need to do so. For some people just needing to relax, go walk the track and check out the ducks! It's a fun way to take your mind off things, get some exercise & fresh air and won't cost you a dime.

I got my GED here on 2/18/25. The staff was very understanding to my needs when it came to my 1000 doctor's appointments and encouraged me to come to class. I felt welcomed here with the other students and non-judgmental teachers. Mrs. Borjon was a great help when it came to me actually graduating since it was her that said it didn't matter how I took notes, as long as *I* understood them. It only took me 6 weeks to graduate. James Wilburn has been an incredible CDL instructor. He's very thorough when he tells you what you are learning and how it needs to be done correctly. I myself am not all that easy to coach but he makes it calming enough to stay focused even when you've gotten frustrated. His repetition method gets drilled into your head until you break you habits and get it right almost not even realizing you've done it correctly. Very funny and laid back kind of guy. Kilgore College School of Nursing always has one of the highest NCLEX pass rates in the state. When I attended (many years ago) I had some awesome professors. So impressive that 35 years later I still remember their names and I hold them in the highest regard! Back in the day the school of nursing was in the J Malcolm & Katie Mar Crim estate Bldg. I returned for a visit 4 years ago and the gates were open but it appeared unoccupied. The building appeared empty and In researching it’s recent history it appears the college has recently sold the estate to a private party with plans to make it an event center. Makes me wonder what the status of the building is now!

This is the college where my son got his associate degree. Lately, I have been coming here for an application to a vacant position. All the persons I met from the interview to the person who showed me how to get to the bus stop were accommodating and pleasant. Nothing short of respect was given me. If I get that position, it’ll be an answered prayer. The campus feels like my college home of the yesteryears. Cool atmosphere with the nice wind of autumn. Shade trees all around. A mix of new and old buildings. It’ll be a neat adventure to explore LC in the days to come.

Started off at the Corinth campus which was okay for most of my prereq basics, but dealing with any or most of their administration department is horrible, they don't know what's going on half the time! NOW I am in the LVN program in Gainesville and absolutely LOVE it! The administration actually know and care about what is going on and will take the time to really help you. If you are looking for a nursing degree and want to go an "easier" faster route definitely try to get into the LVN program, it's a year long and I absolutely love the staff and have had no problems with the department in a whole at all. They offer a bridge program from LVN to RN so you don't have to do as many prereqs as you would just going straight into the RN program, you also won't get turned down when applying to the program if you're doing their bridge program!

Great Professors are ecellent and fair at the end of the day. The amount of patients it takes to teach me alone deserves 5 stars. Wish there was more financial aide available for students not in district/remote. Cost of liveing in San Antonio is a little lower than DFW. The extra fees are painful. Intershipes is a little difficult to navigate if you don't live in San Antonio. Other than that, very good experience! I've learned alot and feel alot more confident in my knowledge. San Jacinto College is a great school. The staff is super helpful and available no matter what. When I first started out looking for the right community college I admit I started with HCC it was the obvious choice but they immediately gave me the run around. When I went up there to get help with filling out my paperwork they just said to fill it out but wouldn't sit down with me and show me how. When I went to San Jacinto, they walked me step by step through the whole process from how to fill out my financial aid to what tests needed to be taken to what classes would be best for what I wanted a degree in. The school is nice, clean and everyone there is really good and pointing you in the right direction for what you need. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

I graduated from here before transferring to Texas Tech, and I so enjoyed my experience. SPC is about a third of the price of Tech, and the quality of the education is very high. Being that it is a small school, the professors take the time to get to know you and work with you which, in my experience, helps set you up for academic success. My wife attends school here 4 days out of the week. This is her first semester and so far it’s been a pretty nice school. We had zero problems with the tuition office nor did we have any problems with the enrollment process. I see others on here talking about ‘meth’ and how far behind they are with technology, but that simply hasn’t been our experience. It’s a nice, clean campus with friendly and capable staff members. They seem to be doing well with handing the virus crisis. Nice College.

I'm currently a student here, and I don't really have any complaints. For a community college, there's a solid amount of resources at your disposal. Free tutoring in most subjects (and they serve food!), a food pantry, two cafes and a subway, multiple clubs/organizations, a decent amount of events, and even a weight room in the sports center. There's enough on campus to keep you there after class for a few hours, which is always nice. Professors are pretty cool and the classes aren't insanely difficult (except for algebra lol) Overall, not a bad place to be

I wish I could rate each part of the college individually! Be sure you are the type of person that will stay on top of things! Administration is not very forthcoming on what you will and will not require. We learned we needed a parking pass and student id only after getting a ticket. Division secretary Michelle Smith in vocational science, she was a gem! She was so helpful getting us registered and everything! My son is there for welding and as of yet I have zero complaints regarding this department. They seem to truly care about the students, their safety, their learning, and that they enjoy themselves. There is a gentleman in the security office who is the absolute sweetest person and is so helpful. He told us to file an appeal about our parking ticket, and he probably wrote us the ticket.

Lived in Austin all my life and never visited here once, I happen to get reminded that this library was here by google maps. Decided to immediately visit here the following weekend and was not disappointed. Absolutely insane building. Took my kid to the second flood, has a center atrium and there are 2 sides; one for children and one for teens. If you have kids there’s a lot for them to do. There are computers to use, toys they can play with, and the books of course. Even outside seating if you want fresh air either on the top floor or any of the outside porches. A ton a seating areas and every floor with plenty of places to charge or plug in devices. Cafe Cream on the first floor if you need a beverage. There’s a dedicated area just to play board games. Again, insane library. The only thing I can complain about is you have to pay to park in the parking garage, which is expected for the downtown area but wish it wasn’t so.

I love writing and working here. The calm, silent ambience. An abundance of seating and tables. Friendly greetings. Unlike expensive coffee shops and cramp spaces, I can spread out, save moolah and feel comfy & at peace. The 7th floor is best. The children’s library is neat too for the munchkins. The lib showcases kid films weekly.

Great experience. Actually the new photo ID library card has been a big help to me. I love what they are doing. I was there about 7 years ago and it was loud and obnoxious. Now it is a great place to learn and a quiet place to read and/or study. In short, I love it and highly recommend checking it out. Thank you and may God bless you all that work there and over see the goings on there.

She was so thorough at explaining everything and all the library has to offer, as we are new to town. We had researched the makerspace beforehand and were given a tour of that after getting our library card. We were blown away, such a cool space and friendly staff-- we are excited to try it out. I was really surprised by how big and beautiful the Frisco Public Library is. The first thing you notice when you walk in is this huge T Rex skeleton which is honestly super cool. The place feels open, bright, and really clean. There’s so much space everywhere, plenty of books, and spots to sit or study without feeling crowded. They even have a makerspace with 3D printers that anyone can use, which I thought was awesome. Everything about the library feels modern and well designed, from the layout to the lighting. It has such a good vibe, calm but creative at the same time. Easily one of the nicest public libraries I’ve ever been to.

Good sized library with a lot of open space. Helpful staff, great displays and of course, tons of books and resources. I certainly wasn't expecting to find family friendly tabletop games, but I really appreciate how the library's offerings have expanded since I was a kid. Great place with a lot of freely available resources. Staff is consistently helpful, and the decor inspires and advocates for a love of reading. If you're here for voting, it's the hallway to the right when you come in. Also, the study rooms are excellent and fairly soundproof. Highly recommended.

The North Branch Library is lovely, comfortable, well stocked, and excellently staffed. This library offers a terrific teen area that includes a great deal of very attractive contemporary teen lit. The children’s section includes a physical play area with ample room to move freely. The reference area is the designated quiet area. The adult area offers an excellent selection of books and media; what they don’t have within the walls of this library, they can quite often secure from one of the other well-stocked city libraries. The ever-full “Hold” shelf serves as ample evidence of the residents’ appreciation of this service. Overall, the North Branch offers a highly valued set of services to everyone in our community and we are grateful for it.

This Library is great for kids! For those that complain about kid noises, they have other places they can go to work in quiet. Kids don't always have other places they can go. The library is a great place for kids to learn and grow. If you want them to grow up loving reading and learning, let them be in these places where it happens! Other libraries are not as kid-friendly and can be frustrating for a toddler mom. SO GRATEFUL for this library! (Also there are workstations in the hallways outside of the library that tend to be a lot quieter if you want)

5 star library. We love the kids section. Located in the back so you feel like it’s safe. Also they have a courtyard you can go read in. Lots of reading programs for kids. They have a very large reading section for all reading levels. Ask about the pop up books. You can’t check them out but they are fun to look at in the library. They have extra large books you can check out I think.

This public library is the one I visit when I go to Mexico or visit Laredo Texas. Generally, I have documents that arrive to my email and I need to print before crossing the international bridge. There is a large computer lab. In case of being a foreigner user like me, they give you a GUESS PASS#####, You have to write everything in full, including the letters. The printers are on the first floor and you can close all the files, if you're done and make sure they were filed in the printer. You need coins and 1 dollar bills to print. By the way, there is no color printer, only black and white. All the staff are very friendly and cordial. They always have a smile and explain things to you with patience.. I highly recommend this library.

I have not been in the library in years. It still looked the same, but bigger. The layout seemed more open and I loved that! The gentleman at the desk was very attentive and friendly. I was looking for book club kits and he let me know they were book clubs in a box and directed me to their location. When I went to checkout my book both the librarians were so kind and helpful. The Round Rock Public Library is a fantastic, modern library with ample space, comfortable seating, and a wide selection of books. It caters to both children and adults and we love it! Finding what you need is easy with their computers, which even include a map of the book's location. The top floor is my favorite because it's so quiet. There's also plenty of study space available, though you'll need to book it in advance. The staff is consistently kind and helpful, and the best part is that it's free! Parking is never an issue downtown thanks to their multi-level parking garage. The weekly events are also wonderful. The lessons were engaging and well-structured, and I even had the chance to practice speaking with native speakers in a real-world setting. The atmosphere of the classroom was welcoming and supportive, making it one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back for more, and I’m already looking forward to the next session!”

Kyle Northon

“I didn’t think I could learn English this quickly until I took classes here. The teaching was engaging and hands-on, and I could feel my confidence growing with every lesson. The teachers were knowledgeable and supportive, and they provided me with plenty of opportunities to practice speaking in real-life situations. It was challenging, but also so rewarding. If you want to improve your English skills fast, this place is perfect!”

Maria Gonsalez
