Spokane Community College

I went into two buildings and the grounds outside the greenhouse on my most recent visit. The college is always clean, there's always plenty of hand sanitizer and face masks upon entry, and there is always ample parking. Of course this is during the summer, and during the fall it could be a different story. Everyone's friendly and willing to help when you don't know where you're going. The greenhouse entrance way and grounds are absolutely stunning. Sadly they are closed until September, the end of, and I very much look forward to getting in there when they're open. If the inside's anything like the outside, they will have some amazing stuff in there. High marks for a clean campus inside and out.

Really amazing community College. The teachers are great. There is a large variety of classes. The campus is modern, well furnished, and clean. The college has a lot of running start students (highschoolers in college). I've found it totally possible make friends here. The college has an event or two a month with free food which is quite good. Something to keep in mind is that people don't really review schools on Google unless they are mad, almost every I've met at BC is really happy and satisfied here, so don't get discouraged. I think this may be the best and least depressing community campus in the state!

I have really enjoyed attending Clark college. I've taken lots of different classes and never had one that I felt the teacher was inadequate or didn't care about the students. Everyone is fantastic. If you need help, people will go the distance you just need to ask. It can be hard to navigate the administrative side with financial aide and whatnot, but if you're not afraid to ask questions you can find people to help you with any problems that arise. My only complaint is the parking during peak hours, I really wish they would remedy that.

I started as a high school senior and continued for the year following graduation. If I stay on track, I will have my AA degree in Spring 2026. So far I have nothing negative to say about the college. I failed a class , but I was warned that my grades were slipping and I still did nothing to improve them. I was immature. Currently, I work part-time and attend college full-time. The course fit seamlessly into my schedule and the professors are very accommodating. I am thoroughly enjoying my experience at Pierce College.

I have almost completed my AAS degree there. I don't have an experience with other colleges, but I am fully satisfied everything here: my instructors, college administration (any question or problem solves very easy and fast), that knowladge and skills which I aquire here... The only thing which I would change is decreased students number in ELA classes. But this issue depends not on college desire or it absent, but on city or state financing. If I would an opportunity to move two years in the past to enroll any college, I would choose SVC again. No doubt.

This school was extremely supportive and helpful when it came to helping me figure out what I wanted to do. They helped accommodate my IEP and helped me pick classes I would enjoy that also went towards my degree. When I had to take classes for my degree that I found hard they gave me tons of resources to help me study and prepare. I truly appreciate this school so much.

I currently go here for welding and I love it!! The staff is always so helpful no matter who you go to and they are always wanting to make sure you succeed at whatever you are wanting to do. Would highly recommend going to school here! Just take a glance at the website and get to know the college a bit better and maybe even set up something to do a virtual tour or one in person. I think they do virtual tours? Anyway would highly recommend for just getting out of high school or later in life like myself!!

I graduated here at 20 years old, Lexine will help you with high school and anything else needed. The high school program was so easy you just have to try it's really not that hard, I used to fail high school then I came here an figured out what I wanted to do. The welding program will help you get certified and help you with your future, I'd prefer to go to the night shift class. The 2 highest paying jobs you can lern about are welding, and or cyber security but you will find cyber security courses at the other location.

St. James Cathedral, Seattle

Address: 804 9th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104

Contact: (206) 622-3559

This is a majestic cathedral in the heart of Seattle, one that once loomed celestially over the surrounding urban landscape with its two ornate Italian Renaissance style towers. Now, the buildings surrounding it are much taller, these blocky monoliths of steel and glass, but the cathedral is still distinguished by the artistry and deep care of its architecture. This is a building that evokes devotion, the passions of individual hands and individual minds to honor the sublime power of the divine. It is an emblem of a particular time in the history of the nation and the history of Seattle, when the city was young and Italianate architecture styles were extremely popular, in the early decades of the 20th century. Yet it is also an emblem of a kind of reverence and loving, artfully imaginative devotion to the divine that will never age or decay. This is absolutely a building that must be seen by anyone with an appreciation for spirituality or architecture in Seattle.

Great customer service. I had an account set up with just my phone number back in covid times and never had it verified. I was able to come in and get a library card and they were able to link it with my phone number to maintain my reading history. Easy and quick.

You are one of the great teachers I have ever seen. I like your approach. It is different and it is what I could call "must have" for all teachers. Because you do not just teach, but also help us learn and remember well by applying your knowledge of how a brain works. I believe once you know how it works, you can always find a path to walk inside and store knowledge within it. And that is not the only unusal skill of yours I witnessed during our lessons. I cannot stop thinking how you remember all of the things I say during a lesson without even missing a dot 😂 I know you write it down, but somehow that does not prevent you to keep track of what I am talking about. That is an incredible skill. Besides that our lessons were so enjoyable. I have never thought some day I would look forward to joining a lesson. Thank you for being that kind, supportive and "different".

Working with my English elocution tutor has been an incredible experience that has transformed not only my pronunciation but also my breathing and overall speech control. She has helped me soften the sharp Indian edge in my accent, making my speech sound smoother, clearer, and more natural. What I value most is her patience and her ability to identify the root causes of my challenges, whether in sound formation, rhythm, intonation, or breath support and guide me through focused, practical exercises to correct them. Her attention to detail, consistency, and encouragement have made each session both insightful and motivating, and I’m truly grateful for the confidence and improvement I’ve gained under her guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to refine their accent, improve their pronunciation, and speak with greater ease and confidence.

Myself and my fiancé cannot thank the YWCA enough. We had recently faced a hardship and were behind on our utility and rent. We were trying to catch up on our our own when our apartments forced us to seek assistance or move. The same day we applied, we were approved and a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. I've loved coming to this library since my elementary school days many years ago. It's changed, but so has the town. It is more of a community center than a quiet reading space, but let's be honest: we could all use more social interactions and less alone time online. Plus you can always check out a book and go somewhere peaceful to enjoy it!
